On November 8, the China-Egypt Teda Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (referred to as "Teda Cooperation Zone") successfully held a symposium attended by all Chinese employees. The meeting focused on key topics such as park construction and management, project promotion and investment attraction, comprehensive support services, and employee development, fostering in-depth discussions and exchanges. Teng Fei, General Manager of Tianjin Teda Industrial Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Teda Industrial"), and Li Daixin, Chairman of China-Africa Teda Investment Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China-Africa Teda"), attended the event.
At the symposium, heads of various departments and employee representatives reported on their recent work progress, shared their valuable experiences of working and living in Africa, and highlighted the challenges and issues they’ve encountered in their roles. They also offered insightful suggestions for the company’s future development. Li Daixin emphasized that the TEDA Cooperation Zone is currently at a critical stage of high-quality development, underscoring the need to adhere to the overarching principle of "seeking progress while maintaining stability." He stressed the importance of driving both resource acquisition and compliant operations—acting as two powerful engines—to continuously enhance management effectiveness, strengthen accountability, and foster a culture of innovation. Furthermore, he urged fully leveraging the synergistic advantages among Tianjin, Hong Kong, and Africa, actively promoting resource integration and collaborative growth, and steadily boosting the region’s international operational capabilities and overall competitiveness.
After carefully listening to everyone's remarks, Teng Fei took the lead in extending his condolences to all employees stationed in Egypt who have steadfastly remained at their posts for an extended period. He also fully acknowledged the remarkable achievements made by each department despite the challenging circumstances. Teng Fei pointed out that after years of development, the TEDA Cooperation Zone has already established a solid foundation and is now entering a new phase focused on enhancing quality and boosting efficiency. He outlined TEDA’s comprehensive “5+5” corporate strategy and shared the company’s future growth direction, emphasizing the need to continuously strengthen strategic planning capabilities, reinforce Party building efforts overseas, promote refined management and professional development, and refine the compliance management system—ultimately elevating organizational effectiveness. He expressed his hope that all employees will continue upholding the spirit of "being especially resilient, particularly combative, and deeply committed," thereby driving the Cooperation Zone toward higher-quality, more sustainable development and setting a shining example of Sino-Egyptian economic and trade cooperation.
This symposium significantly enhanced communication and exchange among employees. Attendees unanimously agreed to take this meeting as an opportunity to unite, collaborate, and strive forward with renewed vigor, paving the way for a new chapter of groundbreaking development in the TEDA Cooperation Zone.
