The only special zone
The Northwest Suez Bay Special Economic Zone, where the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone is located, is currently the only special economic zone in Egypt, and is stationed in the special zone agency directly under the Egyptian Prime Minister. The SAR institutions have all policy-making powers except in the fields of national defense, internal affairs, foreign affairs and justice, and set up a special dispute processing center to solve all kinds of problems of enterprises investing in the zone.
The special zone has a one-stop service center to provide company establishment, registration, registration and related government documents for investment enterprises in the zone. Investment enterprises in the zone enjoy more convenient and efficient services.
Companies, enterprises and their branches in the special zone shall be exempted from customs duties, sales tax and all other taxes and fees on the import of various materials and equipment necessary for operation.
The import of all kinds of automobiles and ships specially used for production or service activities shall be exempted from all kinds of taxes and fees according to the relevant standards.
Companies, enterprises and their branches in the special zone are not required to register and license for import and export, and can directly handle various import and export businesses on their own.
Relying on the advantages of Inhanna Port, the third largest seaport in Egypt, and the surrounding transportation, a three-dimensional and fast composite logistics network has been established; the bonded zone system has been implemented, and the policy of "exemption, tax exemption, and bonded" has been implemented to provide enterprises with more preferential import and export Preferential and superior development conditions.
