Egypt is one of the four ancient civilizations in the world-.

It is about 2900 kilometers long. The Nile runs north and south, with a total length of 6700 kilometers and a length of 1530 kilometers in Egypt.
Cairo, the capital of Egypt, is the political, economic and commercial center of Egypt. It is composed of Cairo Province, Giza Province, and Qalyubi Province. It is commonly known as Greater Cairo with a population of more than 2000 million. It is the most populous city in Arab and African countries and one of the top ten cities in the world. Other major cities are Alexandria, Port Said, Sharm el-Sheikh.
By the end of 2015, Egypt's population was more than 90 million. The total number of Chinese in Egypt is about 10000, mainly concentrated in Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said and Ein Sokhna.
According to the constitution, the Egyptian government is the highest executive and management organization in Egypt, composed of the prime minister and ministers. The departments responsible for the economy mainly include the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Communications and Information, the Ministry of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, and the Ministry of Transport.
The main ethnic groups in Egypt are the oriental Hamm (Egyptian Arabs, Copts, Bedouins, Berbers), accounting for 99% of the total population, and Nubians, Greeks, Armenians, Italians and French descendants account for 1%.
The official language of Egypt is Arabic, which is also regarded as the mother tongue of most citizens; Coptic (evolved from ancient Egyptian) is spoken in the Coptic Christian church in Egypt. In addition, English and French are commonly used in large cities and tourist areas.
About 90 per cent of Egypt's population believes in Sunni Islam, and about 10 per cent of the population believes in Christian denominations such as Coptic Orthodoxism, Coptic Catholicism and Greek Orthodoxism. Coptic Orthodoxism is an independent sect of Eastern ritual Christianity, to which most Copts in Egypt belong.
Egypt implements a five-day work week, with Friday and Saturday as public holidays.
