The first project in the extension of the TEDA Cooperation Zone has been finalized: the official groundbreaking ceremony for Langma Tire’s Egyptian factory was held.
The Egyptian factory represents a pivotal step in the company’s global expansion strategy. Drawing extensively on the construction and operational expertise gained from its overseas facility in Pakistan, the company will introduce cutting-edge production technologies and manufacturing principles to Egypt, while also leveraging the advantages of a localized supply chain to fully realize its vision of “rooted in Egypt, serving Africa, and reaching out to the world.”

7.8 billion! Three major investments! Sailun’s world’s largest overseas tire base is rapidly taking shape in the TEDA Cooperation Zone.
This is not only a landmark achievement in the park’s investment promotion efforts, but also signifies that the TEDA Cooperation Zone has evolved from a strategic foothold for Chinese enterprises’ overseas expansion into a pivotal node in the global supply chain.
An additional $285 million in investment! Sailun Tires will build its largest overseas production base in the TEDA Cooperation Zone.
With the full implementation of China’s zero-tariff policy for its 52 diplomatic partners in Africa, the Teda Cooperation Zone will see its locational advantages and policy benefits further unlocked, paving the way to attract more Chinese manufacturing enterprises to establish and expand their operations in Ethiopia.
