On March 16, local time, Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli (Moustafa Madbouli) and his entourage visited the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone). The entourage included Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone Management Bureau (SAR General Administration) Chairman Waleed Gamal Eldin, Vice Chairman Waleed Youssef, Ibrahim Abd Elkhalek and other senior officials.
On behalf of all the enterprises and employees of the TEDA Cooperation Zone, Liu Aimin, chairman of the Egyptian TEDA Investment Company, and head of the TEDA Cooperation Zone project, expressed high respect and warm welcome to the visit of the Prime Minister and his party. Chairman Liu Aimin introduced to the Prime Minister the good development of TEDA in Egypt and the planning and development of the TEDA Cooperation Zone Expansion Zone, and expressed his international vision, courage and courage to promote economic development, and support for the development of TEDA Cooperation Zone since Prime Minister Madbouli took office. On the same day, the Prime Minister and his entourage visited the representative enterprises of Hengtong, Midea, Pan Ocean and Jushi in the TEDA Cooperation Zone. Prime Minister Madubli fully affirmed the enterprises entering the cooperation zone to promote the localization of modern industries and help the local economy and employment, and sent a message that the development of enterprises is getting better and better.
At a press conference held after the visit, Prime Minister Madbouli stressed that the fine products produced by enterprises in the TEDA cooperation zone have changed the situation that Egypt needed to import completely. After entering Egypt, these enterprises not only meet the needs of the local market, but also can earn foreign exchange through export. This is the result of the Egyptian government's efforts to encourage foreign investment. He also noted that these enterprises are proud to be providing products for the "Decent Living" project initiated by President Sisi.
