TEDA Cooperation Zone Attends "10th Anniversary Achievement Exhibition of China-Egypt Co-Construction of 'the belt and road initiative"

A few days ago, the Chinese Embassy in Egypt held a reception to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the the People's Republic of China, and held an exhibition on the 10th anniversary of the joint construction of "Belt and Road Initiative" between China and Egypt. The exhibition is divided into two parts: comprehensive exhibition and enterprise exhibition. The comprehensive exhibition broadcasts the main achievements of China-Egypt cooperation through a high-definition large screen, vividly presenting historical moments and wonderful pictures such as policy communication, facility connectivity, unimpeded trade, financing, and people-to-people bonds between the two countries. China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone) and the boulders in the park, Xidian International, China Construction, China Harbour, Haier, Huawei, Angel Yeast, CRRC Sifang and other representative enterprises participated in the exhibition, telling the stories of Chinese-funded enterprises in Egypt from multiple angles in the form of special booths, new administrative capital central business district (CBD) sand tables, product objects, and satellite models of aiding Egypt II, show the responsibility and style of corporate social responsibility.
Egyptian government representative, Minister of Trade and Industry Samir, Prime Minister representative, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Relics Issa, Deputy Senate President Phoebe, Minister of State-owned Enterprises Esmat, Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf, Cairo Governor Khalid, former Prime Minister Sharaf and other Egyptian people from all walks of life, more than 800 people including the Speaker of the Arab Parliament Oshumi, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League Mohamed, envoys of various countries in Egypt, overseas Chinese in Egypt, overseas students and representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises attended the reception and visited the exhibition.
Ambassador Liao Liqiang led a delegation to visit the TEDA Cooperation Zone booth and expressed concern about the development status of the cooperation zone. Song Caicen, executive director of Egypt's TEDA Special Zone Development Company, said that under the guidance and guidance of the heads of state of China and Egypt, the cooperation zone has attracted 145 enterprises to settle in, with actual investment exceeding US $1.7 billion, accumulated sales exceeding US $3.8 billion, and taxes and fees paid exceeding US $0.2 billion, directly solving the employment problem of more than 5000 people and industry driving employment of about 50000 people. Among the enterprises entering the zone, there are 8 top 500 enterprises in the world, top 500 enterprises in China and top 500 enterprises in the industry. The TEDA Cooperation Zone will join hands with enterprises entering the zone to continue to work hard to implement the instructions of the head of state, promote the deepening of China-Egypt economic and trade cooperation, and jointly build the "Belt and Road.
