China-Africa TEDA Joins Hands with Zheshang Zhongtuo to Explore Diversified Development of Supply Chain Integration Services

On November 3, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd. (referred to as China-Africa TEDA) and Zheshang Zhongtuo Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Zheshang Zhongtuo) was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The two sides intend to establish a long-term and close partnership to give full play to their respective resource advantages and jointly promote the diversified development of industrial chain and supply chain services in China, North Africa and the Middle East. Yuan Renjun, Chairman of Zheshang Zhongtuo Company, Liu Aimin, Chairman of China-Africa TEDA, and the teams of both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the direction of future cooperation.

According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in the fields of supply chain services, international trade, marketing and promotion: based on the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone), through the complete supply chain service system of Zheshang Zhongtuo, jointly serve Chinese enterprises to go out along the "Belt and Road Initiative" and jointly explore the markets of Egypt, North Africa and the Middle East to achieve mutual benefit and common development.

This cooperation is of positive significance to the development of various business sectors in TEDA Cooperation Zone. Liu Aimin, Chairman of China-Africa TEDA, said: "The two sides will jointly discuss various cooperation contents such as trade and logistics in the TEDA Cooperation Zone and supply chain services supporting the industrial chain, so as to build a multi-party linkage development format and maintain the advanced advantages of the park."

On the other hand, this move will greatly help Zheshang Zhongtuo to expand the market in Egypt and even the Middle East and North Africa. Yuan Renjun, chairman of Zheshang Zhongtuo, pointed out: "TEDA will assist us in the investigation of the Egyptian project, the establishment of a full-stage and multi-directional service system for the project and the later operation, and provide support for the smooth development of the project and the later entity investment."
