CDB Held Loan Policy Publicity Meeting in TEDA Cooperation Zone

On November 09, 2017, Zhou Daqi, General Manager of Market Research Department of Cairo Representative Office of China Development Bank, and Mr. Osama Badawi, head of financial institutions of SAIB Bank, led a delegation of six members of the publicity team to visit China-Egypt-TEDA-Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as TEDA Cooperation Zone). The members of the delegation include Lin Jun and Zhang Ziheng of the Cairo Representative Office of China Development Bank and Mr. Ahmed Abu El and Mr. Mohamed Amiri of SAIB Bank. Relevant persons in charge of China-Africa TEDA and representatives of enterprises entering the park attended the briefing.

At the beginning of the meeting, the representative of China Development Bank gave a general introduction on various types of loans, financial products and overseas RMB loans in China-Egypt capacity cooperation; the representative of SAIB Bank of Egypt gave a detailed introduction on loans to small and medium-sized enterprises and 0.26 billion overseas RMB loans. Afterwards, the participants had a lively discussion on issues related to 0.26 billion overseas RMB loans. Experts from China Development Bank and SAIB Bank answered the questions one by one, and the promotion meeting was successfully concluded in a harmonious atmosphere.

This publicity meeting is not only a demonstration of the cooperation zone as a functional platform for financial services, but also an effective attempt of the "financial wing" in the overseas version of the TEDA model of China-Africa TEDA Company. It also provides effective financial support for the future development of the company and enterprises entering the zone.
