On March 16, Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli (Mustafa Madbouly) and his entourage inspected Hengtong Optoelectronics Egypt Co., Ltd. (Egypt Hengtong) located in the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone. General Manager of Egypt Hengtong Fang Shaolei and other representatives of the company warmly received.
Prime Minister Madbouli visited the entire factory with Fang Shaolei's introduction and praised the rapid commissioning of the Hengtong Egyptian factory. During the visit, the Prime Minister showed great interest in the production of optical cables and had a detailed understanding of the details of production and specific technologies. At the same time, Madbouli also specially greeted the Egyptian staff on the scene, concerned about the staff's income level, commuting and accommodation, and was satisfied with and appreciated the management and development of Egypt Hengtong.
Prime Minister Madbouli's inspection fully affirmed Hengtong Group's investment and construction of factories in Egypt, promoting the development of modern communications, and helping the local economy and employment. At the same time, he also expressed his attention and expectations for Egypt's Hengtong and wished its development. Getting better and better has increased confidence for Egypt's Hengtong to develop into a first-class optical cable production and R & D base in the Middle East and North Africa.
Egypt Hengtong is one of the global overseas industrial bases of Hengtong Group. The first phase of the factory will be put into operation in April 2022, with a total investment of over US $10 million and a factory building of 6,000 square meters, driving more than 100 local jobs. Egypt Hengtong focuses on the production of optical cable. In addition to supplying the local market in Egypt, the products will also take root in Egypt to radiate Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
