Shukaili said that Egypt is the first African and Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China, and we are very proud of this. I am very glad that Egypt has once again become the first stop of the Chinese Foreign Minister's first visit in the New Year, which demonstrates the strong and profound friendship between Egypt and China. Egypt abides by the one-China principle, unswervingly supports China in safeguarding national unity, stability and development, and supports China's legitimate position on issues related to Xinjiang and Hong Kong. We look forward to working with China to raise the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and China to a higher level in accordance with the guidance of the two heads of state.

Wang Yi said that China appreciates Egypt's support for China's legitimate position. China also firmly supports Egypt in safeguarding sovereignty, security, development interests and national dignity, and is willing to continue to support each other on issues involving each other's core interests and major concerns. Over the past ten years since the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt, political mutual trust has been deepened, practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results, and multilateral cooperation has been close and strong. Wang Yi said that the two sides should deepen practical cooperation, make good use of cooperation mechanisms at all levels and in various fields, such as the Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee, and jointly build "Belt and Road Initiative" with high quality. we will promote the construction of landmark projects such as the Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, the New Administrative Capital Central Business District, and the Ramadan 10 Day City Light Rail, and expand cooperation in new energy, aerospace, agricultural science and technology, digital economy, artificial intelligence, medical and health. China encourages Chinese enterprises to invest in Egypt, is happy to see more Chinese citizens travel to Egypt, and is willing to expand the import of products with Egyptian characteristics. China supports Egypt in strengthening personnel training and is willing to make Egypt's "Luban Workshop" a benchmark for China-Africa vocational education cooperation.

Wang Yi pointed out that China and Egypt are both representatives of large developing countries and emerging forces. They both adhere to independent foreign policies and support true multilateralism. In a world of turmoil, China and Egypt are important strategic stabilizing factors. China is willing to work with Egypt to support an equal and orderly world multipolarization and inclusive economic globalization, promote the development of international governance in a just and reasonable direction, and safeguard the common interests and legitimate rights of developing countries.

Shukaili said that Egypt and China share the same or similar positions on major international issues. Egypt is willing to work closely with China in multilateral cooperation, jointly safeguard the principle of non-interference in internal affairs, strengthen the unity of developing countries, jointly oppose the creation of conflicts and antagonism, and maintain international and regional peace and stability.

The two sides agreed to jointly implement the results of the first China-Arab Summit and the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, and implement the "Eight Common Actions" of China-Arab pragmatic cooperation and the "Nine Projects" of China-Africa pragmatic cooperation ".

The two sides had in-depth communication on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and issued a joint statement on the Palestinian issue after the talks, expressing deep concern about the further spillover of the current conflict and stressing the need for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, the implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions, the establishment of an effective humanitarian relief mechanism, the promotion of the implementation of the "two-state solution" and the contribution to a lasting, comprehensive and just settlement of the Palestinian issue.

The two sides also signed the outline for the implementation of the second five-year comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt.
