For business opportunities, enterprises have the most sensitive touch. The Egyptian factory of Midea's Kitchen and Water Heater Division has recently settled in TEDA Park. As Midea's first independent overseas production base, the dishwasher project here is designed to have an annual production capacity of 1.5 million units.
"The park is positioned as an export-oriented base, and our main target market is also an overseas market, so the positioning is very suitable. Egypt is very close to our target market, Europe and the Middle East, and the port of Ein Sokhna is also within 5 kilometers of the vicinity, so logistics is very convenient." Liu Xue, deputy general manager of Midea's Egyptian Kitchen Hot Company, said that the smooth construction and commissioning of the Egyptian factory is a manifestation of the dividends brought by the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative to the development of the company's "going out to sea".
