Enterprise Introduction
Egypt TEDA Investment Company was established in July 2008 and is the main body of the development and construction of the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "TEDA Cooperation Zone"). The TEDA Cooperation Zone is an important platform for deepening production capacity cooperation between China and Egypt. In November 2009, Premier Wen Jiabao and the then Prime Minister of Egypt jointly awarded the starting area of the cooperation zone, creating a model of international regional cooperation. The starting area covers an area of 1.34 square kilometers and has been fully developed. The total investment in development and construction is 0.146 billion US dollars. Four leading industries of new building materials, petroleum equipment, high and low voltage equipment and machinery manufacturing have been initially formed. The park has perfect supporting facilities, with 12 standard workshops in China's small business incubator. It has built a comprehensive supporting service center including investment service building, four-star hotel and staff apartment. It has built supporting entertainment facilities such as TEDA Paradise, and introduced GoBus bus bus station to set up points in the cooperation zone to meet the production and living needs of enterprises entering the zone. The project in the starting area has now formed a scale effect, and each industry is driven by leading enterprises. The leading enterprises, including Jushi Company, IDM Company, Xidian Company and Shepherd Company, are in good condition and their economic benefits are growing continuously, forming an industrial chain of "horizontal groups and lateral chains.
