TEDA Cooperation Zone Participates in China-Arab Expo, Chinese and Egyptian Government Officials Attend Praise

This expo mainly focuses on the host country-Egypt to hold a series of economic and trade negotiations and exhibition activities, and successively held more than 20 large-scale events such as the China-Arab Business Summit, the China-Arab Agricultural Cooperation Forum, and the China-Arab Technology Transfer and Innovation Cooperation Conference. The heads of state of China and Egypt promote projects and implement an important starting point for China-Egypt production capacity cooperation-China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone for short), under the leadership and support of the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce, in Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone Participated in this grand expo with the assistance of the General Administration.
The national exhibition hall of Egypt, the guest of honor, covers an area of about 1000 square meters. In this space where its social, economic and cultural development achievements and characteristic advantageous industries are fully displayed, the booth of TEDA cooperation zone has become a beautiful scenery, attracting the attention of many guests.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt, Tariq Kabile, and the Vice Chairman of the General Administration of the Suez Canal Economic Zone of Egypt, Mahafuz Mazuk, visited the booths of the TEDA Cooperation Zone and promoted the production capacity of China and Egypt in the TEDA Cooperation Zone. Cooperation and promotion of Egypt's industrialization process expressed appreciation. Minister Kabile told Assistant General Manager Zhang Zhixiang, who represented the main operator of the TEDA Cooperation Zone, China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd., that Egypt hopes TEDA will increase its investment and scope, "rush out" of the special zone and move towards the whole of Egypt.
In the Tianjin exhibition area, the TEDA Cooperation Zone is highlighted as a model project for Tianjin to implement the "Belt and Road" and implement international production capacity cooperation. On the morning of the opening day of the expo, Cui Jindu, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal People's Congress, and Fang Qiuchen, chairman of the China Foreign Contracting Engineering Chamber of Commerce, came to the Tianjin exhibition area to learn about the project. Director Wang Xingchun of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce focused on the results of the first phase of TEDA Cooperation Zone and the investment promotion and construction of the second phase. Deputy Director Cui Jindu and President Fang Qiuchen both recognized the achievements of TEDA Cooperation Zone. Subsequently, Deputy Director Cui Jindu and his entourage, accompanied by Director Wang Xingchun and Chief Assistant Zhang Zhixiang, visited the booth of the TEDA Cooperation Zone in the guest of honor country exhibition area and exchanged views with representative officials of the General Administration of the Special Administrative Region of Egypt.
In this exhibition, TEDA Cooperation Zone not only effectively carried out brand communication and investment promotion with the help of this grand event, but also showed the best platform for Chinese enterprises to invest in Egypt. At the same time, the "integration" of the TEDA cooperation zone into the guest of honor exhibition has become a part of the achievements of Egypt's social and economic construction, fully reflecting the importance of the TEDA cooperation zone in China-Egypt cooperation.
