Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Visits TEDA Cooperation Zone

On October 28, 2017, Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabel (Tarek Kabel) and Han Bing, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, visited the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone. Yuan Jiying, managing director of TEDA in Egypt, Liu Yi, executive director, Ahmed Radwan, executive president, and relevant leaders of the company warmly received the ministers and public officials, and 45 Egyptian and international media were also present.

First of all, in the VIP room on the second floor, Han Bing introduced the in-depth cooperation between China and Egypt in five areas, including trade, investment, large projects, finance and construction assistance. At the same time, Han Bing stressed the important contribution and significance of the TEDA cooperation zone in the implementation of production capacity cooperation between China and Egypt.

Subsequently, Ahmed Radwan reported to the guests and the media on the current construction results of the TEDA Cooperation Zone and the future planning of the expansion zone in the TEDA Impression Exhibition Hall. After listening to the report, Minister Tariq expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the TEDA Cooperation Zone and hoped that the TEDA Cooperation Zone would continue to make progress.

Finally, the delegation visited the Jushi, Shepherd and Hengshi and other representative enterprises in the area.
