The Sino-Egyptian Vocational Education Cooperation Seminar and Industry-Education Integration Conference was successfully held in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) Cooperation Zone.

Recently, the Sino-Egyptian Vocational Education Cooperation Symposium and Industry-Education Integration Conference was successfully held in the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the TEDA Cooperation Zone). This conference is a key measure to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of China and Egypt, aiming to explore new ideas for Sino-Egyptian vocational education cooperation, promote industry-education integration, and support the development of Sino-Egyptian vocational education. More than 80 representatives from Sino-Egyptian colleges and Chinese enterprises attended the meeting.

During the meeting, guests in their speeches spoke highly of the outstanding achievements of the Egypt Luban Workshop as a benchmark project for China-Africa vocational education cooperation. The person mainly responsible for Tianjin Light Industry Vocational and Technical College delivered a speech online and stated that the college will continue to give full play to its professional advantages and contribute to Sino-Egyptian vocational education cooperation. The person in charge of Tianjin Transportation Vocational College pointed out in his speech that in the future, cooperation with Egyptian partners will be deepened. By developing international professional standards, jointly building a Sino-Egyptian Technology Research Institute, and promoting engineering practice and innovative teaching models, the precise matching of talent cultivation and industrial needs will be achieved, injecting sustainable impetus into Egypt's intelligent manufacturing and new energy industries. Leaders of Ain Shams University and Cairo Higher Maintenance Technology Military School expressed that the successful operation of the Egypt Luban Workshop has improved the technical skills of Egyptian youth and made positive contributions to Egypt's economic and social development.

The person in charge of China-Africa TEDA stated that since President Xi Jinping and President Sisi jointly unveiled the expansion area of the TEDA Cooperation Zone, the TEDA Cooperation Zone has become the industrial park in Egypt with the best environment, the highest investment density, the largest unit output, and the most concentrated Chinese enterprises, achieving remarkable economic benefits. The training and employment base jointly built by the TEDA Cooperation Zone and the Luban Workshop has further deepened the exchange of Sino-Egyptian vocational education, cultivated a large number of high-quality technical talents for Egypt, strongly supported Egypt's economic development, and helped Chinese enterprises to take deep root in Egypt. Looking to the future, both sides will continue to deepen cooperation to provide more internship and employment opportunities for Egyptian youth, and firmly believe that the TEDA Cooperation Zone and the Luban Workshop will become a model for Sino-Egyptian cooperation.

During the meeting, the unveiling ceremony for the establishment of the International Collaborative Industry-Education Integration Community for New Energy and Intelligent Manufacturing was also held. This community is jointly established by more than 20 universities, vocational schools, leading enterprises, and research institutions from China and Egypt. Focusing on the two strategic fields of new energy and intelligent manufacturing, through a three-in-one cooperation model of curriculum development, technological breakthroughs, and talent certification, it cultivates local high-skilled talents for Egypt and provides systematic solutions for industry-education integration along the Belt and Road Initiative. The next day, representatives from Tianjin Light Industry Vocational and Technical College, Tianjin Transportation Vocational College, Cairo Higher Maintenance Technology Military School, and Egypt TEDA Development Company formally signed a letter of intent for cooperation in jointly building the Egypt Luban Workshop training and employment base, marking a new stage for Sino-Egyptian vocational education cooperation.

At present, the Egypt Luban Workshop has successfully cultivated thousands of high-skilled talents, becoming a key platform to support the localized development of Chinese enterprises in Egypt and promote the upgrading of Egyptian industries.
