Recently, the Jiaxing Municipal Bureau of Commerce held the 2025 "Silk Road Escort" launch ceremony and a special event for overseas parks. Huang Jiamei, Deputy Director of the Foreign Economic and Trade Cooperation Bureau of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, and Shen Xiaodong, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Jiaxing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, attended and delivered speeches. More than 80 people attended, including representatives from the People's Bank of China in Jiaxing, the Municipal Taxation Bureau, commerce departments of various counties (cities, districts), and enterprises. China-Africa TEDA was invited to attend.

Fu Shen, General Manager of China-Africa TEDA's Hangzhou office, systematically introduced the core advantages and development plan of the TEDA cooperation zone to the guests. He said that as a national-level overseas economic and trade cooperation zone, the TEDA cooperation zone has formed a complete industrial supporting system, a highly efficient operation system, and "one-stop" characteristic services, becoming an important platform for Chinese companies to deploy in Egypt and even the Middle East and North Africa. Fu Shen particularly emphasized that Zhejiang Province and the TEDA cooperation zone have a deep-rooted relationship, and many Zhejiang-based enterprises have successfully established themselves in the cooperation zone, making significant contributions to Egypt's industrialization process, export earnings, and employment growth. He called on more Zhejiang enterprises to seize the opportunities in the Egyptian market, use the TEDA cooperation zone as a fulcrum, and deeply participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

"Silk Road Escort" is an important platform for Zhejiang's commerce department to serve enterprises' overseas investment. This event focuses on the practical needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in the process of "going global." Huang Jiamei shared a special topic on outward investment record-filing procedures and risk prevention key points, the People's Bank of China in Jiaxing detailed the key nodes and procedures for handling some of the businesses involved in enterprise overseas investment, and the Jiaxing Municipal Taxation Bureau shared practical tax guidance tools and gave key explanations of the overseas income declaration that enterprises are concerned about, helping enterprises to safely "go global." Shen Xiaodong introduced the situation of overseas investment in Jiaxing. In response to the current situation of enterprises accelerating their "going global", he pointed out that commerce departments at all levels should further integrate resources and strengths from professional service organizations in law, taxation, finance, insurance, and security, and use the "Silk Road Escort" event as a vehicle to guide enterprises to go global safely and orderly through more accurate and efficient services.
During the event, relevant financial, insurance, university, and consulting institutions interacted and exchanged views with enterprises.
