On the afternoon of January 31, 2025, the grand auditorium of the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone) was immersed in a sea of celebration. The 2025 Spring Festival Gala, themed "A New Chapter of the Silk Road, Celebrating a Colorful New Spring," was grandly held. More than 200 representatives and employees of Chinese and Egyptian enterprises in the cooperation zone gathered together to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year and experience the cultural charm of the traditional festival.

The gala opened in a festive atmosphere. Everyone stood solemnly and sang the national anthem of the People's Republic of China, with the loud singing expressing love and blessings for the motherland. Cao Hui, Executive Director of the TEDA Special Zone Development Company, stated in her speech that the TEDA Cooperation Zone is not only a bridge for economic cooperation but also a platform for cultural exchange. In the new year, TEDA will continue to optimize the business environment, enhance park services, and work hand in hand with enterprises to create a better future.

With the cheerful melody of "Spring Festival Overture," the enthusiasm of the audience was reignited. A series of wonderful performances presented a visual and auditory feast for the audience. The host led the singing of "Ode to the Motherland," bringing the atmosphere to a climax; solo performances of "Boundless Rivers and Mountains," martial arts performance "Mixed Martial Arts," and Huangmei opera "The Female Imperial Consort" showcased the integration of Chinese and Egyptian cultures and artistic charm; video greetings allowed everyone to feel the strong bond of brotherhood even from thousands of miles away.

The gala reached its climax with a series of highlights. The solo "Zhuoma" and the chorus "I Love You, China" brought by Tian Shi Logistics, and the poetry recitation "Reading China" by Egyptian students... each program resonated with the audience; the Chinese-style jazz solo dance "Xiao," the chorus "My Motherland and I," and the hard qigong performance received prolonged applause; at the end of the gala, brilliant fireworks soared into the sky, and the colorful lights illuminated the night, bringing joy and warmth of the New Year to the TEDA Cooperation Zone.

This Spring Festival Gala was not only a celebration of the festival but also a fusion of cultures. It allowed the Chinese compatriots in Egypt to feel the warmth of home and promoted cultural exchange and emotional resonance between the Chinese and Egyptian people.
