A few days ago, Zhao Liu Qinggong of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt participated in Walid, chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Administration, to sign an agreement on the implementation of the vocational training center project in the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Egypt.
The vocational training center is located in the expansion area of China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone) (the portal "China Aid to Egypt Vocational Training Center is located in TEDA Cooperation Zone"). The project is expected to cover an area of 40000 square meters and a construction area of about 7880 square meters. The construction standards will refer to China's higher vocational schools, supporting teaching buildings, dormitories, training rooms, restaurants and activity venues. It is planned to set up machinery, electricity, renewable energy, automobile assembly and maintenance, industrial robots, electronic product design, production, assembly and maintenance, communication network technology and other majors. Train practical professional and technical personnel for Egypt, especially the Suez Canal Economic Zone.
The project will help meet the demand for high-quality talents in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, better promote the development of the economic zone, and attract more foreign investors to invest in Egypt. Walid expressed his gratitude to the Chinese government and the project expert team, and pointed out that the economic zone has always put talent training as the focus of development, and the development of the economic zone has achieved remarkable results.
