The historical materialism founded by Marx and Engels proves with irrefutable scientificity that the development of human society is a natural historical process, turning the view of history into science, and building socialism and communism on the basis of historical inevitability. This provides scientific guidance for people to adhere to and apply Marxism and solve problems in accordance with the laws of social history.

From a theoretical and logical point of view, the establishment of the Communist Party of China, the establishment of the basic socialist system, and the successful establishment, development and improvement of socialism with Chinese characteristics are all the inevitable results of correctly understanding, grasping, and using historical materialism to reveal this law and trend.
