China-Africa TEDA Attends "the belt and road initiative" International Cooperation Forum for Listed Companies
2020 National Listed Companies to Build "the belt and road initiative" International Cooperation Forum was recently held in Shenzhen. With the theme of "Joining Hands to Address Challenges and Cooperation to Promote Win-Win", this forum is co-sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and the World Trade Center Association. More than 400 representatives from government departments, business circles, professional institutions, and enterprises from countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" attended the forum. Zhang Zhixiang, assistant general manager of China Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Africa TEDA"), was invited to attend.
At the meeting, the participants focused on the four topics of "carrying out global cooperation in the fight against epidemics, promoting the construction of a community of human destiny", "promoting the development of the digital economy and building a digital Silk Road", "enhancing the level of international cooperation and building a new development pattern", "strengthening international industrial synergy and helping the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
At the seminar on "improving the level of international cooperation and building a new development pattern", Zhang Zhixiang introduced to the participants the achievements made by China-Africa TEDA in implementing the "Belt and Road Initiative" construction, focusing on the Sino-Egyptian TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (referred to as "TEDA Cooperation Zone") project, and explained in detail the TEDA Cooperation Zone to build a bridge for Sino-Egyptian cooperation and join hands with Chinese industry leaders to promote the economic and industrial development in the host countries, and to the participants to show the TEDA cooperation zone development status, future planning and vision. He said that the TEDA Cooperation Zone, as a landmark project linking the construction of the "Belt and Road" and the development strategy of the Suez Canal Corridor in Egypt, is actively carrying out the upgrading of overseas parks. Through continuous improvement of infrastructure, construction of supporting services, and improvement of service levels, it will help Chinese enterprises. Cross-border trade and investment facilitation build a better platform carrier. The TEDA Cooperation Zone will give full play to its role as a platform to help form a new development pattern with the domestic cycle as the main body and the domestic and international double cycles promoting each other.
China-Africa Development Fund, Pakistani Consulate in Guangzhou, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Sinotrans, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Guoxin Securities, AsiaInfo Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Shunfeng, Jinshan, Xiaomi, Chuanyin, China Shipping, BYD and other well-known institutions and listed companies attended the meeting.
