On the morning of August 26, the "dual zone linkage" between Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and TEDA Cooperation Zone and the first launch ceremony of China's second-hand car export to Egypt was held in the Lingang Business Building of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. Second-hand cars from China gather here, board the ship from Tianjin Port, and then sail along the "Maritime Silk Road" to the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone.

Chairman Liu Aimin of China-Africa TEDA pointed out: China-Egypt trade has a history of more than 1300 years, Chinese goods are very popular in Egypt, and the annual trade volume between China and Egypt has exceeded US $14.5 billion. As a demonstration project of Sino-Egyptian economic and trade cooperation, the TEDA Cooperation Zone is currently at a critical moment in the upgrading of the park. The new businesses such as trade licenses and bonded warehouses obtained by the park have laid a good foundation for the export of Chinese second-hand cars to Egypt and the continuation of a new chapter of the "Maritime Silk Road.

They said: As the only Chinese-funded enterprise in Egypt with a second-hand car import license, the TEDA Cooperation Zone currently has mature operating experience and successfully cleared customs and sold hundreds of imported second-hand cars, opening up a market in Egypt. In Egypt, TEDA is the leader among many park construction and operation enterprises, and has been working closely with the General Administration of Suez Canal Economic Zone to develop hand in hand. TEDA has built a second-hand car trade platform to build a bridge between Chinese suppliers and Egyptian demand. We welcome Chinese used cars to enter the Egyptian market and will do our best to help TEDA Cooperation Zone do a good job in related business. An important part of the event was the joint signing of the "Second-hand Car Export Business Cooperation Agreement" by China-Africa TEDA, China Star North and China Aid Group, and the signing of the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement" between China-Africa TEDA and China Star North. According to the agreement, the three parties will work closely together to create a win-win and sustainable partnership. The three parties will focus on the second-hand car export business and cooperate in projects such as vehicle sources, spare parts, maintenance, international logistics, warehousing, security, overseas warehouse exhibitions, cross-border e-commerce, and financial introduction. On this basis, the three parties will also seek cooperation in the fields of international trade of goods, labor export, engineering construction and international production capacity, so as to jointly create greater commercial value.

After signing the contract, the participants moved from the lecture hall to the outdoor square. The second-hand cars ready to go at the scene have taken on a new look and are neatly parked. As the invited guests cut the ribbon concisely and ceremoniously, the first vehicles left in turn, headed for the dock, boarded the ocean ship, and sent to the TEDA cooperation zone in Egypt.

Zhai Yuanhao, general manager of China Aid Import and Export Group Co., Ltd., said that most of the "Belt and Road Initiative" route are new economies and developing countries, which are in a period of rising economic development, and there is a huge market demand for cost-effective second-hand cars.
