China-Africa TEDA X China Construction Engineering: Comprehensive Cooperation, Based on Egypt to Serve the Mediterranean Sea
On March 6, local time, China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China-Africa TEDA) and China Construction Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Construction Technology) in the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as China-Egypt TEDA Cooperation Zone) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Liu Aimin, Chairman of China-Africa TEDA, Song Caicen, Executive Director of Egypt TEDA Special Zone Development Company, Zhang Zhixiang, Assistant Executive Director, and Bai Yubing, General Manager of China Construction Steel Structure North Africa Company attended the signing ceremony. Liu Aimin and Bai Yubing signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively.
According to the agreement, the two parties will expand the depth of cooperation based on the China-Egypt Steel Structure Manufacturing Plant (hereinafter referred to as the Steel Structure Plant) in the China-Egypt TEDA Cooperation Zone. China-Africa TEDA will fully support the construction and follow-up operation of the steel structure plant, and carry out strategic cooperation on the construction and construction of industrial plants, commercial buildings, residential buildings, infrastructure and other projects planned in the China-Egypt TEDA Cooperation Zone. China Construction Technology gives full play to the advantages of the whole industry chain of "investment in R & D, design, construction and operation", and provides high-quality services for the whole industry chain involving steel structures in the Sino-ETEDA cooperation zone through EPC, construction general contracting, steel structure services and other modes.
In addition, the two sides will seize the strategic opportunities for the construction of China's "Belt and Road Initiative" and the development of Egypt's "Suez Canal Economic Corridor", give full play to their respective advantages, adhere to resource sharing and complementary advantages, and promote mutual benefit and win-win results. We will build a comprehensive, multi-level and wide-ranging long-lasting cooperation mechanism and start all-round cooperation in Egypt and the Mediterranean region. Jointly build a new pattern in the field of steel structure for the future and leading industrial development.

China Construction Steel Structure Egypt Manufacturing Plant is located in the Sino-Egyptian TEDA Cooperation Zone, covering an area of more than 27,000 square meters. The factory is mainly positioned as medium-sized building steel structure, supplemented by heavy-duty, covering electricity, industrial equipment, steel structure factory buildings, prefabricated buildings, housing construction, cultural and commercial venues, and transportation stations. The design capacity is 14000 tons of steel structure and 3000 tons of factory wall/roof panel. The factory is based in Egypt, radiating other Africa and the Middle East, facing Europe, serving countries along the Mediterranean Sea.
