China-Africa TEDA Attends "the belt and road initiative" Forum and Transnational Investment Conference of Listed Companies

On December 9, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the World Trade Center Association co-sponsored the National Listed Companies to Build the "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Forum and Transnational Investment Conference in Beijing. The forum is co-organized by Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, China Association of Listed Companies, and hosted by China International Chamber of Commerce. China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China-Africa TEDA") was invited to attend the meeting as a representative of the overseas cooperation zone.
During the discussion session of the forum, Zhang Yixiang, Executive General Manager of China-Africa TEDA, delivered a speech and shared with the guests the successful experience of China-Africa TEDA in building an overseas cooperation zone. He said that after more than ten years of development, the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "TEDA Cooperation Zone") has made many achievements, especially in promoting the industrialization process of the host country and promoting the TEDA overseas model suitable for the development of overseas cooperation zones., It is recognized and praised by all parties.
He pointed out that with the deepening and implementation of the "Belt and Road", the overseas cooperation zone as a platform for international production capacity cooperation has broad development prospects. On this basis, the top-level design of the cooperation zone should be strengthened to guide the rational layout of the cooperation zone.
During the forum, the organizing committee released the first batch of "Guidelines for the Business Environment of Enterprises in Foreign Investment Countries (Regions)" and "Selected Cases of Excellent Practice of Chinese Listed Companies in Jointly Building the" Belt and Road "" for participants to further understand the "Belt and Road" The business environment in the hot spots along the route and the successful experience of the "Belt and Road" construction. Among them, the book "Selected Cases" includes 2 excellent project cases in the TEDA Cooperation Zone.
With the theme of "listed companies jointly build 'Belt and Road Initiative' and international cooperation for the benefit of the people of all countries", the forum came from governments, business associations, trade and investment promotion agencies of countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative" route. More than 500 representatives from China Securities Regulatory Commission, listed companies, financial and legal professional service institutions attended the meeting, providing an international platform for listed companies to exchange experiences and learn from each other, in-depth understanding policies, and docking trade and trade and investment projects.
