TEDA Overseas Model Invited to Tsinghua Lecture Series
On November 26, at the invitation of the Institute of International and Regional Studies of Tsinghua University, Liu Aimin, Chairman of China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd., as the speaker of the "Park Economy and Economic Development" series of lectures, was a guest at Tsinghua University, and was present in the central main building. Dozens of postgraduates and doctors conducted in-depth and detailed sharing on the "TEDA Overseas Model.
First of all, Chairman Liu Aimin introduced the overseas model of TEDA, and combined with the "policy communication, facility connectivity, unimpeded trade, financing, and people-to-people connectivity" advocated by China's "One Belt, One Road" to interpret the top-level design of the "Flying Goose Model" of TEDA's overseas model, detailing the new form of the "park" and proposing a new possibility for the development of overseas parks.
Then, based on the main functions and current situation of overseas parks in China at this stage, the paper makes a prediction and prospect of the future development direction of overseas parks. It explains in detail that industrial parks are organic life forms that constantly adjust and evolve with environmental changes, and emphasizes that healthy and sustainable parks should establish a complete system composed of independent self-consistent systems. At the same time, it is pointed out that entering the 21st century, Global industrial parks are still evolving, and parks that conform to the development of the national industrialization process can survive or take advantage of the situation.
In the question session after the lecture, Chairman Liu Aimin and teachers and students had in-depth discussions and exchanges, and vividly explained the real cases of the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone in the process of overseas construction, so that teachers and students It seems to be on the scene and deeply inspired.
TEDA's overseas model originated from Tianjin TEDA and inherited the spirit of Tianjin TEDA's philosophy. It is based on the development and operation modes and experiences of many development zones at home and abroad, and combined with years of deep cultivation in Egypt. As the "Belt and Road" construction is responded by more and more countries and regions, the "TEDA Overseas Model" is attracting more and more attention from countries along the "Belt and Road. At present, TEDA's experience in Egypt has been applied in the CITIC Myanmar Kyaukpyu Project, the Mombasa Free Trade Zone Project in Kenya, the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone Project, the Congo (Brazzaville) Black Point Project and the Kumasi Project in Ghana, and helped these parks play a better role in the construction of "Belt and Road Initiative.
The TEDA overseas model lecture was warmly welcomed by the teachers and students present, and was also highly praised by the event organizers. The organizer stated that the "Park Economy and Economic Development" series of lectures especially need such content, with both theoretical perspectives and practical cases.
