On July 5, 2017, representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Cairo Office of China Development Bank, under the leadership of the Economic and Counseling Office of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, a group of 6 people visited the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the TEDA Cooperation Zone). Zhang Yixiang, Executive Director of TEDA, Egypt, and Ma Xia, Director of Management, warmly received the delegation.

In the TEDA impression exhibition hall on the first floor of the comprehensive supporting service center, investment promotion director Han Peng introduced to the delegation the construction, investment promotion and future development plan of the TEDA cooperation zone, explained the strategy of "the belt and road initiative" and "Suez Canal Corridor", and introduced the location advantages of the TEDA cooperation zone and the development history of the Tianjin Economic Development Zone and the TEDA cooperation zone.

Subsequently, the delegation came to the conference room on the second floor to attend the forum of enterprises entering the zone hosted by Zhang Yixiang. Representatives of entering enterprises such as Xidian EGYMAC, Shepherd Egypt Company, Hengshi Egypt Company, Universiade Egypt Company and Xiamen Riverside Egypt Company attended the meeting. After the representatives of the participating enterprises introduced their respective business status, difficulties and demands, they also exchanged experiences and discussed solutions to the problems. The delegation and his party had in-depth communication with representatives of various enterprises on the issue, and said that they would consider setting up a secretariat in the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in the light of the proposal of Han Gongshen, the Economic Consultant in Egypt, to summarize the problems and suggestions of various enterprises, and to reflect them to the government departments of the country. put forward corresponding policy recommendations to help enterprises solve practical difficulties.
