The China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "TEDA Cooperation Zone"), as one of the important starting points for the realization of China-Egypt production capacity cooperation, has been highly valued by the leaders of the two countries. The two sides finally reached a consensus to jointly establish a good intergovernmental cooperation mechanism, strengthen interaction and exchanges, and promote the development of the TEDA cooperation zone.

In the afternoon of the same day, the TEDA Cooperation Inter-District Coordination Committee was formally established in the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce and held its first joint meeting. Vice Chairman Ma Zook, Director Zhang Aiguo of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce and other leaders attended the meeting. At the meeting, China and Egypt fully exchanged views on the problems faced by the development and operation of the TEDA cooperation zone, conducted in-depth communication, and reached broad consensus. As the first cooperation mechanism of the TEDA Cooperation Zone, the TEDA Cooperation Zone Inter-District Coordination Committee was jointly established by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Tianjin Municipal Government, and the General Administration of the Special Economic Zone of Egypt. Its main task is to communicate the progress of the construction of the TEDA Cooperation Zone and study and solve problems involving the government., And reach policy guidance. The successful convening of the first joint meeting of the committee is of great significance to the establishment of the cooperation mechanism between the two governments and the promotion of the development of the TEDA cooperation zone project.
