To better serve the joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative" and to add new momentum to our city's high-level opening up, on December 31, Li Cailiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, led a visit. Qu Defu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, received the delegation. Both parties held discussions on the economic and trade linkage, port linkage, and financial linkage between the Dongjiang Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the China-Egypt Tianjin Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (referred to as the Tianjin Cooperation Zone). Qu Defu welcomed Li Cailiang and his delegation, introducing the historical evolution, industrial layout of Tianjin TEDA Holding, and the development achievements of the Tianjin Cooperation Zone in Egypt. He stated that since the launch of the Tianjin Cooperation Zone project, it has received high attention and strong support from the central government and the municipal government. General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly pointed out the need to promote the construction of the Tianjin Cooperation Zone during meetings with Egyptian leaders. The Tianjin Cooperation Zone has unique advantages such as a superior geographical location, a broad domestic and international market, complete supporting facilities, and a concentration of high-quality industries. The Dongjiang Port Bonded Zone has advantages in policy and financial innovation, which can fully leverage the strengths of both regions, focusing on the linkage of internal and external dual zones, with the port as the leading role, investment and trade as the bond, and industry and finance as the support, to promote high-quality development of the dual zones and assist Tianjin in deeply integrating into the "dual circulation" and high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative."

Li Cailiang fully affirmed the high-quality development achievements of TEDA Holding and the unique advantages and important role of the Tianjin Cooperation Zone project. He stated that TEDA Holding is an important state-owned backbone enterprise in Tianjin, and the Tianjin Cooperation Zone is a demonstrative project for China-Africa cooperation in building the "Belt and Road Initiative," with broad influence. The Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone has advantages in international trade industry and port linkage resources, which highly align with the needs of the Tianjin Cooperation Zone in terms of geographical advantages, port services, market resources, and policy innovation. He hopes that both parties will strengthen cooperation, starting from trade linkage and gradually expanding to overseas warehouse construction, commercial factoring, financing leasing, and port linkage. The Dongjiang Port Bonded Zone gathers excellent enterprises and can organize matchmaking meetings to introduce the Tianjin Cooperation Zone project, opening new channels for enterprises to go global.
