Event review: From April 15th to 16th, at the invitation of the Lingwu Municipal Government of Ningxia, Liu Aimin, Chairman of China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd. (referred to as China-Africa TEDA), led a team to Yinchuan High-tech Zone for investigation and inspection, and met with Yinchuan Municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary Liu Guoqiang, Lingwu Mayor Ma Zizhong, Executive Deputy Mayor Wang Jiliang, Deputy Mayor Yang Bin and other municipal party committee and municipal government leaders exchanged and municipal government leaders.

Chairman Liu Aimin combined the development history of TEDA Cooperation Zone and overseas park development experience, and put forward corresponding suggestions and opinions on Yinchuan High-tech Zone, China-Arab International Expo, and Yinchuan Lingwu City Industrial Planning.

In his concluding remarks, Secretary Liu Guoqiang highly appreciated the achievements of China-Africa TEDA in the field of overseas parks and recognized TEDA's concept of overseas park development.

At this meeting, the two parties basically determined the direction of cooperation in the fields of industrial planning, park consultation, park trusteeship, and talent exchange and training. At the end of May, we will discuss the specific matters of cooperation again, and further carry out in-depth research around relevant regions and industries.

In the afternoon of the same day, Wang Gang, assistant to the general manager of Tianjin TEDA Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., and Liu Yi, assistant to the general manager of China-Africa TEDA, accompanied Secretary Liu Guoqiang and his party to visit the East District (parent area) of Tianjin Economic and technological Development Zone and Binhai-Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park. In the inspection track, the automobile industry represented by FAW Toyota, Toyota Logistics and SGS; the electronic information industry represented by Supercomputing Center and Zhongke Intelligent Identification Research Institute; the equipment manufacturing industry represented by Otis, SEW, Bohai Equipment, Bohai Drilling and John Deere; the medical health and food and beverage industry represented by Novo Nordisk, GlaxoSmithKline, Kang Shifu, Nestle and Joint Research Institute of Biomedical Sciences; the modern service industry represented by Jingdong, Didi Chuxing, 58 Tongcheng, Sohu Video, Tencent, Mobike and ofo Bicycle is presented one after another. The landscape belt composed of modern factories, high-end office buildings, commercial complexes and flowers and green trees, and the livable communities with cars and vitality form a long scroll of beautiful cities, which just reflects the comprehensive development level ranking of national economic development zones released by the Ministry of Commerce in 2020: TEDA's actual use of foreign capital ranks first in the national economic development zone.

This inspection and return visit not only marks another step forward in the cooperation between Lingwu and TEDA, but also marks that the TEDA model is actively extending to domestic industrial parks on the basis of serving the construction of the "Belt and Road". It is a useful exploration and attempt to implement the national "domestic and foreign double cycle" strategy through the linkage of domestic and foreign parks.
