Midea Chef Fever's first independent overseas production base to be built and operated has laid a foundation in the TEDA Cooperation Zone.
On July 29, local time, the foundation stone laying and commencement ceremony of the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as TEDA Cooperation Zone) enterprise Midea (Egypt) Kitchen and Hot Water Appliance Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Midea Egypt Kitchen Heat Company) with an annual output of 1.5 million dishwashers was successfully held in TEDA Cooperation Zone. Shabaan Mohamed, vice chairman of Egypt's Suez Canal Special Economic Zone Administration, Liu Xue, general manager of Midea Egypt Kitchen Hot Company, Amr Said, general manager of Midea Egypt Miraco Company, Li Daixin, general manager of Egypt TEDA Special Economic Zone Development Company, Chang Weicai, general manager of China Construction Egypt Branch, Bai Yubing, general manager of China Construction Technology Egypt, relevant heads of Midea Group Egypt Branch and subsidiaries, relevant heads of Egypt TEDA Special Economic Zone Development Company and project construction units attended the event.
Liu Xue, general manager of Midea's Egyptian Kitchen Hot Company, said in his speech at the event that Midea's Egyptian Kitchen Hot Project has received strong support and thoughtful services from the Suez Special Economic Zone Administration, Egyptian government departments at all levels, and the Egyptian TEDA Special Zone Development Company since its inception. At the same time, it has also received support and help from many professional companies, and the warmth of many parties has strengthened Midea's expectations and confidence in the prospects of the Egyptian project.
Midea Egypt Kitchen Hot Project is the first overseas manufacturing base independently established and operated by Midea Kitchen Hot Division. The project covers an area of 60000 square meters and will be completed in two phases. It is planned to produce 1.5 million dishwashers annually, which will drive 1500 local jobs. After the completion of the future project, it will provide more timely and efficient services for customers in Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa, and gradually introduce other kitchen electricity and hot water products according to market needs, and strive to become the best manufacturer of kitchen electricity and hot water products in the region.
