New TEDA Re-sets out for in-depth exchanges with Saudi Arabia TEDA's new overseas cooperation
From November 1 to 2, Tianjin TEDA Park Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TEDA District Management") held video communication meetings with Saudi Industrial Property Administration-MODON (hereinafter referred to as "Saudi Industrial Property Office") and Saudi Jubail-Yanbu Royal Commission-RC (hereinafter referred to as "Jubail-Yanbu Royal Commission") to discuss in depth the development strategy and cooperation areas between TEDA and Saudi Arabia. "Willing to join hands with TEDA to accelerate the development of TEDA Dammam Cooperation Zone"
On November 1, the TEDA District Administration and the Saudi Industrial Property Office organized a project cooperation meeting for the TEDA Daman Cooperation Zone. The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation in clarifying investment agency cooperation and expanding park custody business.

At the meeting, Wei Jianqing, general manager of TEDA District, introduced in detail the current situation and future development plan of TEDA Daman Park, and took the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone as an example to explain TEDA's overseas model in detail. The development and construction experience of TEDA overseas cooperation zone has been highly recognized by the Saudi Industrial Property Office. Khalid Selim, director of the Saudi Industrial Property Office, said that the achievements of TEDA overseas model in Egypt are obvious to all. I believe that the professional investment promotion team and operation team of TEDA overseas park will surely build TEDA Daman economic and trade zone into a highly large-scale, professional and international industrial demonstration park. At the same time, he said that he will attach great importance to the development and construction of the TEDA Daman Cooperation Zone, and provide policy support to a certain extent, and work with TEDA to promote the accelerated development of the TEDA Daman Cooperation Zone.
"Deepening strategic cooperation and promoting win-win development"
On November 2, TEDA District Management and the Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbu organized online talks to conduct in-depth consultations on deepening strategic cooperation and promoting win-win development.

At the meeting, Wei Jianqing, general manager of TEDA District Management, first gave a detailed introduction on TEDA's overseas strategy, the successful experience of TEDA's Egypt project, and the business plan of TEDA District Management in Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, the Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbu gave a detailed description of the company's background and future development vision.
Based on the memorandum of understanding signed by Jubail, Yanbu Industrial Services and TEDA Holdings in February 2019, the two parties agreed to sign relevant agreements to deepen cooperation between the two parties in the future to further clarify the scope and content of cooperation between the two parties.
In the future, TEDA will cooperate with the Royal Commission to carry out more in-depth cooperation in the joint development of the Sino-Saudi TEDA Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone, exploring the establishment of functional parks such as free trade zones and bonded zones, investment consultation cooperation, and desalination project construction.
