The following is the text (in part):

In recent years, it has become an international consensus to accelerate the formation of green development methods and lifestyles, and build ecological civilization and a beautiful earth. China actively contributes Chinese wisdom to global sustainable development, supports developing countries in developing green and low-carbon industries, promotes global development to a new stage of balance, coordination and inclusiveness, and draws a new picture of green development.
"The environment is getting better"
Located on the shore of the Red Sea and on the banks of the Suez Canal, the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (referred to as the cooperation zone) is an important platform for China-Egypt capacity cooperation and a landmark project for the two countries to jointly build the "Belt and Road. As of June this year, the cooperation zone has attracted a total of 117 companies to settle in, directly solving about 4000 jobs, and the industry has driven more than 30000 jobs. Many Chinese companies have worked hard here for more than 10 years.
Driving into the park of the cooperation zone, the modern industrial new city with many factories and clean streets is in sharp contrast with the surrounding vast desert. On both sides of the wide and flat asphalt road, the straight standing lampposts are particularly eye-catching. The small windmills rotating in the wind above the lampposts and the photovoltaic panels facing the sun make the monotonous picture vivid under the scorching sun. The complementary form of street lamp power generation of wind energy and solar energy makes the cooperation zone the first park in Egypt to use green energy street lamps on a large scale.
Amina, the management director of the cooperation zone, gave an example to reporters about the butterfly Egyptian textile project. "The textile dyeing and finishing industry itself consumes a lot of water, which is easy to cause waste of resources. However, if part of the production sewage and equipment cooling water are treated technically and recycled, the comprehensive reuse rate of the enterprise's water resources can exceed 50%. The enterprise also pumps the pretreated wastewater into the park sewage pipe network and incorporates it into the sewage treatment plant in the cooperation zone for further treatment."
Patrolling the park to communicate with enterprises on environmental protection issues is one of the jobs of Megaheed, a staff member of the asset management department of the cooperation zone. He told reporters that in the process of attracting investment, the cooperation zone has always given priority to the introduction of low-carbon, environmentally friendly and environmentally friendly enterprises, and at the same time assisted the settled enterprises to connect standards with Egyptian environmental assessment agencies to ensure the sustainable development of the cooperation zone. "The environmental management projects of the enterprise are designed, constructed and put into operation at the same time as its production facilities. For example, reducing the consumption of water, electricity and heat, and strengthening the prevention and control of solid waste pollution are all things that have been planned since the beginning of the enterprise's landing. The environment of the park is getting better and better." Megaard said proudly.
Zaki, chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Egypt, said that with the in-depth docking of Egypt's "Suez Canal Corridor Development" development strategy and the joint construction of "Belt and Road Initiative", the path of sustainable development between Egypt and China has been continuously broadened. "We are happy to see more and more enterprises of the two countries settle in the cooperation zone, carry out more cooperation under the framework of jointly building a green 'Belt and Road Initiative', and jointly build a demonstration platform for economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and China."
