Song Caicen, executive director of the Egyptian TEDA Special Zone Development Company, and Zhang Chao, temporary head of the office of Huaxin Zhongan Egypt Company, signed the land transfer contract at the ceremony on behalf of both companies.
The project signed this time is another overseas warehouse project set up by relying on the location and policy advantages of TEDA Cooperation Zone to build a bridgehead for Chinese goods to be sold to Middle East and North African countries after the logistics bonded warehouse project of Wensheng Company was settled in September last year. The project covers an area of 5175.49 square meters, the main product direction for security products and fire products, the project is put into operation, can use its own Egyptian company identity to carry out bonded storage of goods, sample display and import and export business, effectively reduce transaction risks and costs.
After the project is settled in the expansion zone, it will effectively promote the improvement of the regional economic level and increase employment, expand the agglomeration and development of intra-regional trade and logistics industries, and will also provide guidance and demonstration for other Chinese and foreign-funded trading companies that are willing to expand the Egyptian market. Effect, encourage them to carry out a global investment layout.
According to the needs of the upgrading and construction of the park, the planned land for the expansion area of the TEDA Cooperation Zone is about 400000 square meters, which will be used to build the Egyptian cross-border commodity bonded logistics distribution center and the international second-hand automobile and spare parts distribution center in stages. At present, the development and construction of 100000 square meters of land for the first phase has been completed, and three enterprises have been successfully attracted to settle in, and the investment situation is good; the planned land for the second and third phases is 150000 square meters respectively, which is currently in full swing.
In the future, the TEDA Cooperation Zone will continue to deepen business cooperation with enterprises, focus on the construction of a cross-border commodity distribution center in Egypt, build an international marketing service platform, and effectively achieve "policy communication, facility connectivity, smooth trade, financing, and people-to-people connectivity".
