Thick and thin hair, star project lights up the future

At the press conference, the "Emaotong" series of projects in the TEDA Cooperation Zone met with guests one after another, including "star" products such as commercial logistics land, second-hand car trading platform, and TEDA-ROYAL bonded warehouse. Song Caicen, executive director of Egypt's TEDA Special Zone Development Company, also introduced the construction, investment, supporting facilities and surrounding conditions of the TEDA cooperation zone, and combined with the support and assistance provided by the Chinese and Egyptian governments for the development of the TEDA cooperation zone, introduced the TEDA cooperation zone to the guests in detail. In 2019, the Egyptian government specially approved TEDA to become the only Chinese-funded enterprise that can carry out international logistics bonded and general trade and re-export trade in Egypt. In December 2020, TEDA received a formal approval from the Egyptian General Administration of Customs, allowing the TEDA-Royal bonded warehouse it built to engage in empty and heavy container storage and bonded goods storage, and designated Suez Customs for business jurisdiction and customs supervision.

Based on the advantages of bonded warehousing and exclusive import of used car licenses, TEDA Cooperation Zone plans to build a bonded logistics land sector, carry out trade and second-hand car related businesses, and quickly establish practical cooperative relations with many logistics enterprises and second-hand car dealers in China and Egypt. Among them, Wensheng Company and TLS Company are the first model projects to cooperate with TEDA.

Both Wensheng Company and TLS Company were awarded the honorary certificate of "Best Enterprise in the Zone" by TEDA.

The "Egypt Trade Link" series of products launched this time were witnessed by Mr. Mohmed Shaaban, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Special Administrative Region, and Mr. Yang Xiaozheng, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Egypt: El Safa Information Technology Company, Huaxin Zhongan Egypt Company, Assem El Rashedy Group, Check Car Company and Al Latif Co. It has signed relevant agreements on business cooperation, logistics land, used car project land and exhibition center lease with Egypt TEDA Special Zone Development Company.

On the day of the event, in addition to signing the business cooperation agreement, a second-hand car handover ceremony was also held. This press conference is an "interview" for TEDA Cooperation Zone to take "production and business complex" as an important direction for its own innovation and upgrading.
