Central Africa TEDA X Tianyi Chemical Joins Hands with "Bromine" Egypt

On June 28, Tianyi Chemical's 10,000-ton Bromine Egypt Project Exchange Meeting was successfully held in China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China-Africa TEDA). Shaban, vice chairman of the General Administration of Suez Canal Economic Zone in Egypt (hereinafter referred to as the General Administration of the Special Economic Zone), Li Maoyi, chairman of Shandong Tianyi Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tianyi Chemical), Shan Meiqing, deputy general manager, Liu Aimin, chairman of China Africa TEDA, Li Daixin, deputy general manager, Wei Jianqing, Zhang Yixiang, director of investment promotion, Cao Hui, general manager of Saudi business department, song Caicen, Executive Director of Egypt's TEDA Special Zone Development Company, Zhang Zhixiang, Assistant Executive Director, and Nahla (Nahla), CEO, attended the meeting.
According to Shan Meiqing, deputy general manager, Tianyi Company, formerly the pilot base of Shandong Institute of Marine Chemical Industry, is the earliest marine chemical research institute in China. At present, the company is the largest manufacturer of bromide and brominated flame retardants in China, and its products are exported to more than 30 countries such as Europe, North America, Australia and Southeast Asia.
The Tianyi Chemical (Egypt) bromine project in this exchange is divided into three phases, with a total output value of about 2.2 billion yuan, an annual tax payment of 0.24 billion yuan, and 500 local jobs. The first phase of the project with an annual output of 11000 tons is expected to invest about 0.13 billion yuan (about 0.37 billion Egyptian pounds).

Chairman Liu Aimin said that the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone for short) has become a model project for the strategic docking of China's "Belt and Road" initiative and Egypt's "Suez Canal Corridor Development Plan". A high-quality platform for cooperation. TEDA team will uphold the consistent high sense of responsibility and dedication to serve customers and help the project landing and development.
Vice Chairman Shaban pointed out that the TEDA Cooperation Zone is the leader in the Egyptian park and a model for China-Egypt economic and trade cooperation. The Suez Canal Economic Zone, where the TEDA Cooperation Zone is located, is the largest special economic zone in the Middle East, with obvious geographical advantages. The Tianyi Chemical Project is welcome to settle here, which will not only fill the gap in Egypt's industry, but also help expand China-Egypt cooperation.
At the meeting, China-Africa TEDA and Tianyi Chemical signed a project cooperation agreement to accelerate the implementation of the project. It can be predicted that if the first phase of Tianyi Chemical (Egypt) with an annual output of 11000 tons of bromine is successfully settled, it will certainly take advantage of the platform effect of the TEDA cooperation zone to achieve great win-win results.

The platform role of the TEDA Cooperation Zone is at least three. The first is the efficient integration of the industrial chain. Take Tianyi Chemical Bromine Project as an example. Its important raw material, concentrated seawater, is a by-product of the desalination plant, an important supporting project in the adjacent TEDA Cooperation Zone and Egypt. The upstream and downstream of the industrial chain are seamlessly connected here. The second is to gather the industrial population to lay the foundation for the integration of industry and city. The TEDA Cooperation Zone continues to attract heavyweight industry leading enterprises to settle in, and the gathering of sand into towers realizes the accelerated concentration of industrial population, laying a solid foundation for the rise of modern industrial new cities. The third is the exchange and integration of technical experience here. Previously, there were boulder glass fiber, Xidian high-voltage electrical appliances, etc. Currently, Tianyi Chemical, an industry that fills the gap in Egypt's industry, not only directly drives the economic development of the host country in the form of taxation, but also trains excellent technical talents locally. At the same time, it generates technical radiation within a certain range and benefits the productivity of the industry.
