On March 28, the China-Africa Civil Chamber of Commerce 2023 the Qiandao Lake Entrepreneurs Conference and the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo Promotion Conference were held simultaneously in Hangzhou. The Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the China-Africa Civil Chamber of Commerce, the Hunan Chamber of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Changsha Municipal Government, the Yuhua District Government, and related enterprises, business associations, exhibitions and media organizations in Hangzhou, Jinhua, Yiwu and other places About 200 guests attended. China-Africa TEDA Investment Co., Ltd. (China-Africa TEDA) was invited to attend the promotion of the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Cooperation Zone) and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China-Africa Private Chamber of Commerce.
Wei Jianqing, deputy general manager of China-Africa TEDA, introduced that the TEDA Cooperation Zone is the only two national-level overseas economic and trade cooperation zones that have been unveiled by national leaders. It has now become an important platform for China-Egypt economic and trade cooperation with good political, economic and social benefits. When President Xi Jinping met with President Sisi in Riyadh at the end of last year, he emphasized the "implementation of major projects such as the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone", which attracted the attention of all sectors of society in China and Egypt. He said that in order to provide better, closer and more efficient overseas investment services, China-Africa TEDA will take the lead in establishing an office in Hangzhou to serve Jiangsu and Zhejiang enterprises. He also introduced the future planning of the TEDA Cooperation Zone, especially the development of commercial real estate, as well as the TEDA overseas model, which has nearly 40 years of "city building" experience in TEDA and 15 years of overseas exploration and practice, which attracted the attention of the participants.
Based on the previous good communication foundation, China-Africa TEDA and China-Africa Civil Chamber of Commerce successfully signed a strategic cooperation agreement under the witness of the guests. According to the agreement, the two sides will adhere to the principle of "complementary advantages, equal cooperation, mutual benefit and common development", make use of their respective market channels, political and business relations, professional knowledge, intellectual assets, etc., carry out cooperation in investment promotion, information exchange and market promotion, trade and logistics, jointly provide services to the outside world, expand market resources, and work together to promote enterprises to "go global".
