My hometown, Cairo, is one of the fastest growing cities in Africa, but also one of the most crowded in the world. To ease population pressure, a modern new city is rapidly emerging in a desert about 50 kilometers east of Cairo. One of the most striking is the central business district of Egypt's new administrative capital, built by Chinese enterprises. A 385.8-meter-high tower in the area will become the "tallest building in Africa". The business district will also become a new landmark and a symbol of Egypt's modernization. Every time I think of these things, my heart is always full of pride and pride, and I sincerely thank China. In addition, China has also helped us build a light rail between Cairo and the new administrative capital, effectively alleviating the travel pressure of local people. This is also the first electrified railway in our country.

One of my relatives works in the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone.
